bol LVB: missing units after delivery
With Logistiek via bol (LVB), bol stores and ships your products. When units go missing, either at inbound or later in the warehouse, the LVB terms decide what you get back.
Missing at inbound: bol's count is what counts
When your delivery is dropped off, bol signs only for the number of pallets or parcels and any visible damage, not for the number of units inside. The number of items bol registers during the inbound process is what bol treats as received (LVB terms, article 4.8).
So check every inbound: compare the units you announced with the units bol registered. If bol registered fewer, contact bol partner service straight away with the shipment reference, your packing list and proof of delivery.
Missing later in the warehouse: the 30-day rule
If an item has been missing for at least 30 consecutive days, bol compensates it on your next invoice (article 5.3). By default this is 75% of your selling price excluding VAT. You can ask bol to use your purchase invoice instead. If the item turns up later, bol takes the compensation back.
Don't wait more than 12 months
bol does not compensate discrepancies that arose more than 12 months ago. For differences bol hasn't found itself, you have to contact bol. Nothing happens unless you raise it.
Checking every delivery
StockBack connects to your bol account, compares announced and received units on every LVB inbound, and prepares the message to bol with the numbers and evidence, well before the 12-month limit.
