Lost inventory at Huboo: how to get reimbursed
When you send stock to Huboo you create an ASN (advance shipping notice) saying how many units are coming. When the delivery is booked in, Huboo records a delivery receipt with the units it received. If the receipt is lower than the ASN, those units are missing.
1. Compare the ASN with the delivery receipt
For each delivery, check every SKU: quantity sent on the ASN versus quantity received on the delivery receipt. Note the ASN reference, the received date and the difference per SKU.
2. Collect your evidence
- The ASN reference and the delivery receipt numbers.
- Carrier proof of delivery, with the number of boxes or pallets.
- Your packing list and the supplier invoice showing what each unit cost.
3. Contact Huboo
Raise a ticket with Huboo support. Give the ASN reference, the missing units per SKU and your evidence, and ask them to recount and reimburse any units they can't find. What Huboo pays and how fast depends on your Huboo service agreement, so check it, and raise discrepancies as soon as you see them.
Checking every delivery
StockBack connects to Huboo with your own API key, matches every ASN with its delivery receipts, flags short-received SKUs and writes the message to Huboo with the evidence.
